Warehouse Antiques
Warehouse Antiques, owned and operated by Amherst County resident Tim Ware, began in 2012 as a toy collection in the display windows of what is now one of South Main Street’s most iconic draws. Filling a few thousand square feet of one of the town’s historic buildings with its eclectic and ever-changing array of antiques and collectibles, Warehouse Antiques serves as much as a social hub as it does a retail outlet. A lifelong resident of Amherst County, Tim is well known for his local civic engagement as well as being a principal figure in the Amherst Mountain Biking Club. Anyone visiting the Town of Amherst owes it to themselves to stop by, wind their way through the dizzying array of collectibles, and get some local insight from the shop’s equally fascinating and engaging owner.
