Founded in 2026 by the husband and wife team of New and Nina Thamwongsa, Thai & Pho Spice brings two of Southeast Asia’s most-loved cuisines under one roof in the Town of Amherst: Thai curries, stir-fries, and street-food classics, and Vietnamese pho that’s slow-simmered over 8 hours to create a deeply comforting broth.

New and Nina bring years of experience after having owned and operated restaurants in New Jersey and New York. Every dish is made to order with fresh ingredients and the utmost care. Most menu items can be made vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free on request, and the spice level is adjustable from “no spice” to “Thai hot” on a scale of 0 to 4.
