Rutledge Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant
448 Industrial Park Drive, Amherst, VA 24521
The Rutledge Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant is located in the Zane Snead Industrial Park and provides sanitary sewer service through approximately 20 miles of pipes and three pump stations. It has a processing capacity of 600,000 gallons per day. Services are provided for most residences and businesses within the Town of Amherst corporate limits and several areas beyond.
