Thomas Jefferson Talks Revolution with News Reporter Jeff Taylor

 January 11 @ 2:30 pm | Free

Governor Thomas Jefferson (1799-1781, portrayed by interpreter Bill Barker of Monticello) and former local news reporter Jeff Taylor (2026), both having slipped through the time portal, will discuss the American Revolution (1765-1783) and the signing of the Declaration of Independence (1776). Hear the amazing story of Jack Jouett’s ride to Monticello and Jefferson’s escape to Amherst County. Come prepared to ask your own question of President Jefferson (1808-1809) pertaining to the war and the beginning of a new nation. Light refreshments will be served.
