Events in the Town of Amherst

Join us for an informative program as Dr. Charles E. Driscoll shares Dr. John Jay Terrell’s story. Dr. Terrell was a man of intelligence and compassion who cared for his patients with Christian brotherly love. He was the type of personal physician that is heroically portrayed in stories and film — the type we would all like to have caring for us. He yearned to be at the forefront of medical science, yet he possessed a humility that kept him dedicated to a rural medical practice.
