Events in the Town of Amherst

Join country music legend Jimmy Fortune and his band, The Believers, as they perform at Amherst County High School. Jimmy was a member of the Statler Brothers for 21 years and has continued to perform as a solo artist after the Statler Brothers disbanded in 2002. Special guest 635, a six-piece country and southern rock band, will open at 6:30 p.m. All proceeds support the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program.
