Lecture by Travis C. McDonald: “Saving Thomas Jefferson’s Octagonal House”

Travis C. McDonald, a retired director of architectural restoration at Poplar Forest, will discuss Jefferson’s role as an architect and builder, the workers who constructed the home, and how its architecture fits into his other works. Light refreshments will be served.
