Events in the Town of Amherst

Join the artist and performer of Love Letters to Humanity at Second Stage | Amherst for an expressive movement and theater workshop. During the workshop, participants will play fun games to break the ice as they warm up their bodies. Students will be led through a creative process, learning to tell stories through movement, spoken text, and character development.

• This workshop is appropriate for actors, dancers, and singers ages 13 and up.
• Advance registration is recommended, as space is limited. Thanks to funding by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, this workshop is offered on a donation basis. Any donation received will reserve your space, but the suggested donation is $20.
