Events in the Town of Amherst

Join Amherst Glebe Arts Response (AGAR) and the Amherst County Museum and Historical Society for Series I of the Amherst County African-American Genealogy Workshop. In Workshop 1, participants will learn to use research tools at the Amherst County Museum and Historical Society genealogy library. Workshop 1 is taught by:

• Sandra Esposito, Architectural Historian
• Octavia Starbuck, Director of the Amherst County Museum and Historical Society

Workshop 2 of Series I will take place on February 24, 2025.

• Please note that this event is limited to 7 participants per series. Series II is scheduled as follows:
  • Workshop 1: March 1, 2025
  • Workshop 2: March 10, 2025
• Both Series I and II will present the same content.
