Bonfire Burgers & Bourbon has been serving the Town of Amherst, VA, since 2022. Originally founded by chef Nate Gagnon and his wife, Rachel, the welcoming, upscale-casual restaurant has been owned and operated by chef Brandon since 2025.

Bonfire serves Southern rustic cuisine with seasonal ingredients sourced from local partners like Tucker Family Farms and Sweet Briar College Farm. At the heart of their kitchen, a hardwood smoker infuses signature dishes with natural wood-fire richness, while their whiskey bar offers an extensive spirits selection and a rotating cocktail menu.
