Events in the Town of Amherst

Join the Amherst County NAACP for a community conversation about how federal funding cuts are affecting Amherst County. Topics will include Medicare, Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and food banks. Subject matter experts:

• Todd Blake is the executive director of Park View Community Mission.
• Gary Campbell is the president and chief executive officer of Johnson Health Center.
• Michael Cook is a partner and co-chair of the health care group at Liles Parker.

This is a non-partisan event for all Amherst County residents.
